Using a custom-built Python script, the visual matrix and geometric pixels of NASA's high-resolution Sombrero Galaxy image (12000 x 7607 Resolution) were systematically extracted and mapped into raw sound frequency data. Technical Execution of the Sonification Algorithm: - Temporal Axis (X-Coordinate): The Python algorithm parses the visual matrix from Left to Right, transforming the horizontal plane of the photograph into a real-time sequential musical timeline. - Frequency Mapping (Y-Coordinate): Vertical spatial positions are mapped directly onto a 12-tone chromatic frequency spectrum (Real Scale). Lower pixel rows generate raw sub-bass frequencies, while the upper celestial fields dictate high-frequency microtones. - Amplitude & Intensity Gate: The mathematical light intensity (0-255 grayscale brightness values) of the stars controls the MIDI note velocity directly. This process generates an unforced, natural acoustic crescendo as the data line sweeps through the galaxy's ultra-bright central core. No human musical patterns, scales, or chord progressions were forced into this sequence. The sonic architecture heard is the absolute, literal mathematical geometry of the Sombrero Galaxy photograph. The final master output retains its full dynamic range without heavy compression, preserving the contrast between interstellar brightness and the absolute void of deep space.
